To my loyal reader(s?) and random visitors, I will be gone until after labor day. I'll be hanging out with my sister in the lovely town pictured above. (top- middle of nowhere, bottom- downtown nowhere)
Mr. Debakey, you could have said Montana, wyoming, whatever, and I would have believed you. Wow, the world looks a lot different there. I am supposed to visit my sister in Fargo, North Dakota next year. Best prepare myself.
Fargo is different from Challis Its Flat, no mountains Farm Country Many silos grain or warheads? You decide.
Drive east along mainstreet Fargo Over the Red River and you're in Beautiful Moorhead MN Yes, You've just crossed an American institution - the State Line.
I'm planning a visit that starts in Madison to see one sister, traveling to Fargo, to see the other, then joining a friend to see his brother's spread in Montana. I've never done the north west visit. The closest I got was a week in Topeka, kansas....for work....after I had foot surgery and was wearing a surgical shoe. Not fun.

You get yourself back here, ASAP young man.
Hrmph,
Tengrain
What Tengrain said. And where is that? Montana, wyoming? As a New Yorker, I am flummoxed.
Enjoy your visit. Looking forward to your return.
? I thought Sorghum Crow was a woman...
Anyway, that looks like outside of Mammoth in California .. or North Dakota...
Where is it?
Sorry Crow, but you didn't ask permission to leave. Even more importantly, you didn't ask nicely.
As for the location, my money's on Idaho.
Ack! Sorghum Crow's a guy! I knew that! *ahem*...
Just what fricking state IS that photo anyway, Sorghum Crow?
Flat, cold, eroded hills, snowy... Wyoming?
"Flat, cold, eroded hills"
I think I know her!
